    The mint ingredient alone should have stopped me from picking this off the store shelf. It’s like drinking a cup of hot mouthwash! Refreshes me all right….at least what it does to my breath. LOL!

    I’m sure the tea tastes fine but sending it by usps in a plastic bag is not good marketing. I bought this green ginger tea from Amazon because I couldn’t find my favorite brand in the stores where I live.Smashed and paid way too much. Lesson learned I won’t buy again on line. I will find a new favorite if they quit selling mine

    I’ve been a Zen drinker for many years. No way is the taste of this one Zen.The tag for the above Zen is blank. I’ve included another flavor for illustration.Also, I recollect Zen tag to be green, not orange.I strongly suggest at best it was mislabeled.

    It is supposed to be green tea with ginger and lemon grass. I cannot taste any lemon grass, and barely any ginger. These tea bags just do not excite my taste buds, although some of my friends like them very much. So I give this to my friends, and I drink some tea from England, and everybody is happy. When it is gone, I will not be buying it again.

    Great stuff! Was having major allergy issues. Recommended to me by physician as one of the safest teas to start with, before trying any others. Turns out, my husband and I, both, love it!… Don’t waste money on the K-Cups. They can’t begin to compare to the teabags!

    I have been drinking more green teas and this has proven to be one of my favorites. I prefer a small amount of honey as it (for me) seems to enhance the subtle flavor.

    I was hooked on the Zen tea that I bought in a canister at Starbucks. When they switched to a different tea brand, I found this tea which is similar. It is a good tea but not a great one. It does not have the same amount of lemongrass and spearmint as the other. It also has a slight bite to it in comparison. However, this does not cost as much so, in that way, this is a good tea for a good price.

    4.0 out of 5 stars Zesty spearmint and lemon are modulated by green tea into a substantial potion!
    Zen brews up to an golden amber liquor. The aroma is sweet spearmint. The blending of this tea is excellent–spearmint could be overpowering but they use just the right amount of it. Slightly sweet spearmint is the primary flavor, then you taste a hint of lemon. The green tea provides an herbal base for these two flavors that makes the intial impression of zesty spearmint and lemon modulate into a substantial potion. Very nice and satisfying with a clean spearmint aftertaste.Remember that this tea does have caffeine–however, it does not say how much on the box. A good estimate might be 30 mg–compared to 90mg for the average cup of coffee. Make sure you time how long you brew this tea because if you brew too long it becomes bitter. Four minutes is ample.

    This tea is really good. A lot better than the organic Zen tea. There is an extra ingredient in the organic tea. which changes the taste. This this so much better.
