Overpowering scent
The scent is so overwhelming that I won’t even be able to use it. One sniff and I’m coughing and can’t breathe. I can’t imagine subjecting anyone else to this strong scent if I were to use it. Maybe try toning it down. A LOT

I’m pleased with the product…
My thoughts on the Herbal Essences Bio:Renew Shampoo, Condition, and Curl Cream Set.- At first, I absolutely loved the Mango + Potent Aloe scent. It smelled good in the shower and afterward. But after about a week of use, I started to like it less and less until it was just… meh. Both of my daughters liked the scent, so perhaps that is just me.- The shampoo works as expected. It lathers up easily and cleans my hair. I noticed that it did not feel like it stripped the hair raw, but rather that it left some moisture.- The conditioner also worked as expected. I applied it to my hair, left it on for a few minutes, and then rinsed it out with no issues.- The combo of the shampoo and conditioner is definitely made for wavy/curly/drier hair types. I noticed my hair was less frizzy and voluminous than usual, which is totally okay with me, but may not be the desired effect for someone with thinner hair.- I also like to use the curl cream after I’ve detangled my hair. While it doesn’t take away every bit of frizz, it defines the curls and adds some shine.Overall, I am happy with the Herbal Essences Bio:Renew Shampoo, Condition, and Curl Cream Set.

Stick to shampoo
The smell is amazing but it feels like the conditioner is watered down I have to use a bunch of it to feel like it’s working. I really didn’t like the Hair cream it was really thick and weighed down my hair. I ended up giving this to my husband to use because he isn’t worried about the conditioner like I am since his hair is so short.

Pleasantly Surprised
I have long color treated hair that *wants* to have a wave but usually ends up frizzy and if I’m going out I usually just have to add product and straighten it so it at least looks like it’s been somewhat tamed. So when I got to try this out I figured at worst I’d have clean hair and hopefully no *extra* frizz.Well, I followed the directions and used all 3 products and while I wouldn’t leave my hair as it was with the curl definer ( with long hair like mine, it just doesn’t look right to have each section separate) after I brushed it out, it looked FULL but not frizzy. I know if I had my hair shorter I would be able to play with the curl definer a lot more and possibly get a nice tosseled effect with it. As it is, it’s nice to have some wave to my hair without it looking like a hot mess.I’m sure there are “better” products out there (everyone has their favorites) but most are a LOT more expensive. So I’m going with 5 stars because for the price, the results were pretty darned decent.

Shampoo smells amazing!
This review is for Herbal Essences BioRenew Shampoo, Conditioner (3.5 Oz Each) and Curl Cream (6.8 Oz). I have always liked the scents of different Herbal Essence products and this one is no different. The shampoo smells amazing and just like mango! I like fruity smelling hair products. I wish the conditioner had the same scent. It isn’t the same and has more of a botanical/perfume smell which I didn’t care for. I have fine wavy hair and this set seemed to work well on my hair. I haven’t really figured out how to use the curl cream where it works on my waves right yet but styling products normally take some time to see how they works best for you.

Shampoo smells the best. Helps with frizz.
The shampoo smells the best of all in this set. It smells like a juicy mango and grapefruit – delicious. The conditioner has a bit of a floral or musk scent, and is not as nice. I wish it smelled just like the shampoo. The curl cream smells more floral than the conditioner, and less musk, but I didn’t care for the scent that much either.The shampoo, conditioner, and curl cream work well together to smooth and helps with frizz. But it doesn’t really make my hair bouncy. There wasn’t any buildup or residue from the conditioner.I do like the curl cream especially on a humid day. It did leave a bit of texture in my hair that I wanted to wash out by the end of the day. I don’t know if I would want to wash my hair only every 2-3 days when using this.

Great scent, value and works for my hair!
My hair is a bit odd. I always thought it was straight but I think after all the japanese straightening, then stopping, coloring super black, then light blonde etc. etc. somehow when I “air dry” my hair there’s a bit of curls. I do prefer blow drying brush my hair straight and flat ironing. But sometimes when I’m lazy I just air dry it which means this Herbal Essences BioRenew Shampoo with curl cream is perfect for my “air dry” moments. First off, Herbal Essences is an oldie but goodie for me. I love almost all the scents of Herbal Essences and this version is no different. I only use a little of the shampoo. The conditioner I use a bit more and leave it as I soap. The conditioner does a good job in making my hair softer and easier to manage. I have not used the curl cream yet but it’s great that they included this in the set. Definitely a great value and price. Would purchase again.

Compleat set
This is a very nice set of hair products. It includes shampoo, conditioner and styling lotion.. They are all very good quality ,as you would expect from this brand. The scent is sweet mango. It smells good, but is rather intense. The shampoo lathers and cleans well. The conditioner smooths my hair, but doesn’t leave a heavy residue. The cream keeps the frizzies away..

Great Value for 3 pieces
I like that this set comes with all 3 matching hair products for a great price. They all smell fresh and work as they should. I have had no issues that would make me not want to continue using any of the three products, although the curl cream’s texture was a bit icky feeling. Its sticky, a bit gooey, but melts into the hair, and doesnt weigh the hair down at all or mess up my curl patterns.

Good package deal
These smell amazing. All of these lather well and are easy to rinse. I love the Herbal Essences brand and absolute enjoy the mango scent in this set. The only gripe I have is that the conditioner does not soften or detangle my hair as much as I would like, though it does do both of these well enough.Overall, this is a quality product that I will continue to use as one of my go-to haircare products.

Shampoo Has a Better Fragrance Than Conditioner … Works on Straight Hair, Too …
“Herbal Essences BioRenew Shampoo and Conditioner” is described as particularly good for curls, but the set does work for straight hair, too. The shampoo has a lovely mango-like fragrance; the conditioner has a lighter fragrance, but I was unable to identify it as particularly “mango-ish”. The shampoo cleansed well and the conditioner softened nicely.

definitely increased my wave for at least a few hours
I used the shampoo and conditioner, once my hair dried it definitely had more body, but the body only stayed for 4 hours or so, then it kind of disappeared. From what I can tell, the cream doesn’t work for me, but maybe it’s better for someone with actual curls?

Smells great
I love the smell! The mango smells awesome, and it’s the perfect punch of citrus for the morning. It’s refreshing and bold, and one of the major perks of this shampoo. I tend to be pretty sensitive to smell, and this doesn’t bother me at all. That’s always been where Herbal Essences has excelled for me, and this is another great one. It comes in a set of three different products, giving you everything you need for your morning routine. I’ve used better shampoos/conditioners, but the scent is what makes this a great buy. This is one of the better products you’ll get in this price range, and I love that everything comes together. Overall, a nice buy.

A fantastic buy for non toxic beauty supplies!
I was looking for shampoo and conditioner that was super clean, no toxins. These rated very well in the EWG app. All three smelled nice and worked well. This was an amazing deal for the set as it was but when I received a free tube of Curl Defining Cream, I was delighted. I hope that the combo package is available next time I need hair products.

Could not believe how good this product worked! It is EXCELLENT! i used to buy a more expensive one from Walmart, but they stopped giving free shipping on that product, no matter how much money you spent! This one works just as well! Every bit as well! My hair is so soft, smooth and silky, and smells great! And I live in Arizona, where it is HOT and DRY, all the time! Hard on your skin and hair- now there’s hope for my hair- yeah! I’m sure it will work good for you too! Price is excellent, product is excellent.

Works great on my wavy/curly hair!
It is EWG Verified so you know you are putting safe, natural ingredients on your hair. My hair is left with a light fragrance. I air dry my hair because it is thick, coarse with natural waves and curls. The shampoo and conditioner helped to keep it soft with little to no frizz. Once my hair was dry I added a bit of the curl cream that does a good job of eliminating flyaways and frizz. I would highly recommend this product for curly and/or wavy hair.

Made hair dry
The scent is really nice and you get 3 bottles for the money; however, I have been using rice bars for my hair for the past 8 months and I thought this would be a nice (once every once in a while shampoo thing) but it made my hair dry. Guess all shampoos are the same.

Will buy again
Love this for my curly hair. Smells great and it maintains my curls for days in between washes. I don’t even need to re-apply the leave in – I just wake up and my hair is still curly and looking like I just washed it. Leaves hair soft, not crunchy or sticky. I decided to try it after seeing it on a top 30 list of products for curly hair, and I will be buying it again.

It’s ok not for everyone
After my other sulfate free shampoo and conditioner is no longer in stock anymore I decided to try this but It made my hair very unmanageable not for straight hair. Smell was great. But beware if you have hair past your behind like me… My hair is wavy mostly underneath thought it might be good for all hair types but nah. If your hair is mostly wavy all over and not very long might work. I will not be using the rest of this already switched to a cheaper shampoo and conditioner which is not as bad. Oh ya and the leave in cream made my hair crunchy…
